The Arts Centre at Edge Hill University is one of the most exciting places to be on campus. Meet some of the biggest names in comedy. Our audiences have met James Acaster, Katherine Ryan, Joel Dommett and Russell Kane. Events, performances and cinema are all free for Edge Hill students. There are also lots of opportunities for Edge Hill students to perform at The Arts Centre, including regular Open Mic Nights, Student Talent Nights, and Poetry Slams.

You can book all of your event tickets using our secure online booking facility. From the What’s On, click on the performance that you would like to see, and then choose the ‘Book Tickets’ link. You can then select your seat (if reserved seating is offered) and buy your tickets online. There are no extra booking or postage charges for this facility.
You can book tickets for any performance over the phone by calling the box office. We accept all major debit/credit cards with no extra booking or postage charges for this facility. If no one is available, there is a 24-hour answer phone simply leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please do not leave your debit/credit card details on the answerphone.
On Fridays in our Studio Theatre, we hold Free Film Fridays, exclusively for EHU students. No tickets or booking required, just turn up at 7pm and attend our film that week. You can bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, even a blanket.
You can also sometimes vote for our film of the week, for example at Halloween and Christmas. Head to our Facebook group: EHU Free Film Fridays @ The Arts Centre to get involved and find out our screenings first.
