The campus has so many industry-standard facilities, a lot of which are available 24 hours, and everything is really accessible, with lovely people to help if you need it.

I’m set on paediatrics at the moment but, in four years’ time, I might decide I want to be a diabetes specialist or something else. I want to keep my options open and take all the opportunities I can.

Studying at Edge Hill has given me the opportunity to use my skills as an animator to raise awareness of mental health issues, on campus and beyond.”

When I started the course, I never dreamed I’d have two job offers lined up on graduation.

I decided to do an industrial placement to get some experience and enhance my CV – I never imagined it would lead to a trip to Malawi to build a school.

That moment when a child understands a concept for the first time, it’s the most rewarding thing.

I feel as though Edge Hill has helped shape me as an individual. It helps you recognise qualities in yourself that you never knew you had.

I learnt so much about teaching, as well as about myself as a person, and I wouldn’t have had that opportunity without Edge Hill.

My advice would be: don’t let fear stop you from taking all the opportunities you can. You’re probably more capable than you think you are.

I have met so many inspiring people, been exposed to so much and been offered so many opportunities that will shape my future as a dance artist.
