Thursday 16 January 7pm
Edge Hill Arts Festival
Edge Hill Arts Festival is a showcase of contemporary theatre; written and devised by third- year BA Drama students. Each work has been made in response to a brief and is the inaugural work created by each company.
There are four works in total, each addressing a different theme, such as beauty standards, the uses and influences of AI, representations of the Hillsborough disaster through the media, and women writers use of male aliases.
Each performance is unique and reflects each group’s interests and preferred approaches to making, and as such, the evening will offer an exciting range of experiences.
The performances are:
Pretty Strong Women – The Perfect Woman
Theatre on the Edge – Remembering Hillsborough
Her Story Theatre – Written Through Time
The Curtain Call – Oracle
Tickets: Free, booking required
