HAIR
Heritage Attitude Identity and Respect exhibition on display in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine building.
Black hair has been an integral feature of black history – from African tribal styles and cornrows to dreadlocks and the afro. Our exhibition will look to explore the significance and power of Black Hair throughout history which has come to symbolise heritage, community and strength.
The images have been collated by our staff and students into an exhibition as part of our Black History Month celebrations.
