Before you graduate, here’s some essential information that we hope you’ll find useful as you prepare to take your next step:
Return Library Loans
Please return any library books, laptops and media equipment out on loan as you finish your degree. This means we can keep our library fully stocked in the future. Pop into the Catalyst during opening hours (available here) to drop off your items. If you need to return any books by post, please contact [email protected] or 01695 650800.
Download everything you need from our IT systems
Your email account will no longer be active within 120 days of your course ending. Make copies of any important documents saved on your OneDrive or Learning Edge account. Guidance is available on the ehu.ac.uk/leaving webpage.
Update your email account
When your university account closes you won’t have access to your emails. Remember to update any online accounts where you have used to Edge Hill email address for registration/identification.
Make sure you update your contacts about the use of your personal email address. This is especially important if you have applied for jobs or opportunities.
Check your personal details to receive your certificate
Your watermarked certificate will be delivered to your permanent home address within three months of you successfully completing your programme. Please make sure you check we have the correct contact details for you. If you need proof of your results/award before you receive your certificate, you can download an online transcript (PDF format) here.
Consider Postgraduate study
If you ‘re just completing your undergraduate studies, you may want to consider a postgraduate degree. We offer a wide range of taught postgraduate, research and postgraduate teacher training programmes. As an EHU graduate, you may qualify for a generous 20% discount on our Masters degrees for programmes starting in the 2024/25 academic year. Up to £28,000 in Department for Education bursaries is also available on selected Secondary PGCE programmes. Further information and a full list of courses are available here
Be part of our alumni network
Once you graduate, you will automatically join our Edge Hill alumni network. To make sure you don’t miss out, check your Student Record details are up to date.
