Edge Hill honours employability champions at annual careers awards ceremony

May 23, 2024

Edge Hill University has recognised students, staff, alumni and businesses who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to employability at its annual careers awards.

Awards in 12 categories were handed out in front of a 160-strong audience, which included  students, staff, alumni, employers and voluntary organisations.

Two special recognition awards – one for contributions to employability and the other for achievement – were also handed out on the night, held at the University’s Ormskirk campus.

The awards celebrate the hard work to improve employability amongst Edge Hill students and graduates and increase work-related skills.

Head of Careers and Graduate Employability, Becka Colley-Foster said: “At Edge Hill, we’re passionate about equipping our students with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in their chosen careers.

“Each year, we’re continually impressed by the dedication, innovation, and commitment to employability shown by our students, staff, charities, and business partners. These awards celebrate those achievements and showcase the incredible results that can be achieved through placements, work experience, and collaborative efforts.”
