The University is in the running for Best Value for Money, Best University Housing and Best Student Community, in addition to the shortlisting for Best Moving in Experience announced in phase 1 of the two-part survey in January.
The Global Student Living Awards for the UK and Ireland are based exclusively on direct feedback from tens of thousands of students, over 64,000 this year, about their student living and lifestyle experience.
Director of Facilities Management Adrian McGillion said: “To be in the final again this year, especially when these awards are voted for by students, is a massive accomplishment. I hope we can build on the success of winning Best Moving in Experience last year.
“The entire Facilities Management team, the Student Services team and staff from across the University work really hard all year round, from when our students move in right through to when they graduate, to make their experience living on campus as seamless and fulfilling as possible.
“These nominations show how successful the efforts of our team have been.”
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony taking place on 17 October.
Improvements to the student experience are ongoing, including the largest-ever investment in student accommodation to add another 232 en-suite rooms, opening in 2024, alongside a new Students’ Union and Life Sciences building as part of a £53m campus development.
