What do Campus Connectors and Student Helpers do?

There’s a range of opportunities available throughout the year but the core element of every role is to welcome students to Edge Hill and help them settle into university life. You’ll be a friendly face who has a good knowledge and understanding of life as an Edge Hill student. Helping to inform students about campus and the local area, upcoming events, student groups, opportunities and support services.

However, the roles do have significant differences:

Campus Connector
A yearlong opportunity with variable hours to suit you for a range of events and opportunities within the Student Life team (no minimum requirement of hours per week)
Marketing Campus Connector
A yearlong opportunity with set term time hours to create social media content and graphics, and monitor social platforms for the Student Life team (minimum of 4 hours per week)
Student Helper
This role is for Welcome Weekend only, where you will physically help students move into halls. You must complete the two-hour online training (WC 16 September) and commit to working on 27 and 28 September 2025.
