We‘ve always been ambitious for our students and our university. Since 1933, our campus has welcomed, inspired, accommodated and empowered our students to achieve. It’s a visionary approach which has seen £350 million invested in the past decade alone on intelligently designed study spaces, sports facilities, living quarters and simulated workplaces. Add to that, an exciting £35 million redevelopment featuring an all-new Students’ Union alongside ultra-modern accommodation and Life Sciences building, and our students couldn’t be better placed to meet, study, work, engage and create.

Over the past 90 years, our campus has come on in leaps and bounds, just like the rabbits and squirrels sharing our delightful outdoor spaces. And as we’ve grown, so has our commitment to sustainability and biodiversity. Little wonder then, that our picturesque community engenders such a sense of belonging amongst students. Imaginatively landscaped with two lakes and a beach, our hedgehog-friendly 160-acre campus has won a Green Flag award 12 years in a row, as one of the UK’s best green spaces.
