Shortlist.ME is a video interview platform, which allows students and graduates to practice their interviews, build confidence and receive individual and assessed feedback.

How it works:

Click on the link to Shortlist.ME and then select the activity you wish to practise. A registration box will appear on screen, complete this with your name and Edge Hill email address. If you are a Graduate, please email [email protected] to request the alumni access code.

The Video interview:

You’ll receive an email with an interview link to complete within the deadline – this is typically five days. Don’t worry if you miss the deadline, you can request to extend using the interview link.

Once you are ready to start your video interview, you will have the opportunity to review your answers and evaluate your performance after each question. You can even re-try the questions as many times as you like, until you’re ready to move onto the next one.

After finishing the interview, you will receive an email link to view your interview answers and automated AI feedback will be generated on your speech rate and filler words – these might be words like “um” and “like”.
