Downside?
Don’t forget about the time difference. You might not see much in the US zoos at some points in the day if it’s still night time there.
Google Art and Culture
What are they offering?
Users can explore some of the wonders of the world online, including the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, Sydney Opera House and more
How do I use it?
No need to create an account, just Google Art and Culture and browse.

EHU Faculty of Education
What are they offering?
Their Links to Learning page includes a range of links to help people of all ages during lockdown. Many of the links are to help with learning, but there’s also a big section called General & Fun, which contains links such as a virtual tour of Buckingham Palace, online cooking classes and a Hogwarts digital escape room.

Shropshire Council
What are they offering?
A list of ideas for activities you can do whilst in self-isolation to help stop the boredom.
How do I use it?
Access shropshire.gov.uk and scroll down to self-isolation activities list at the bottom.

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
What are they offering?
The Museum has launched a virtual tour for visitors to explore from their own homes. The online tour allows people to click and explore the city centre attraction online. Various tours are available on the gallery’s website, including The Round Room, Industrial Gallery and Edwardian Tearooms, Art Galleries, the Staffordshire Hoard Galleries and History Galleries. You can even use a VR headset to explore if you have one.
EHU Campus Life Events
Who are they?
The Campus Life team is a part of Student Services at Edge Hill University.
What are they offering?
The team have created a full programme of online events to help you feel part of the Edge Hill community, wherever you are in the world. Activities include student videos, weekly competitions and Instagram Live chats
