What is Clearing?
Clearing provides you with an opportunity to secure a place on an Edge Hill University programme starting in September. Whether you’ve already applied through UCAS or not.
You may have decided to go to university after the initial UCAS deadline or changed your mind about where to study. Whatever your circumstances, Clearing allows you a second chance to join us as an Edge Hill student on a course suited to you. View key dates and information for Clearing 2025.

From Saturday 5 July 2025 and on results day, you will be able to view our available courses through Clearing and apply online.

If you need guidance from our team on results day, our phone lines will are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
You can still apply with us through Clearing after results day if you need longer to decide. Applications close on the Monday 20 October 2025 but we advise getting in touch as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
Can I still live in student accommodation if I apply through Clearing?
When discussing your options with our Clearing Team, they will ask you about if you want to live in on-campus accommodation. If yes, they will transfer you through to our Accommodation Team who will be happy to talk you through your options.

Can I visit the campus before I start in September?
