The team have extensive experience organising and facilitating bespoke school and college campus visits, ranging from small cohorts of students to entire year groups.
Our bespoke campus visits and programmes can be tailored around individual school or college requirements in terms of sessions and timings. Let our team show you around and give your students an insight into studying on our campus and in going to university. Explore a typical example of a programme for the day below.
“A massive thank you to all involved. It was a very worthwhile trip and we very much appreciate the effort that was put into the planning of it. It is definitely something that I would look to repeat with future year groups”

Introduction to higher education: Choosing a course and University
For subject specific campus visits, we would first direct schools/colleges to look at the range of on campus Subject Taster Days we have on offer in both Autumn and Spring/Summer terms each academic year.
Instead of offering bespoke visits for pre 16 groups, we are instead able to offer set dates throughout the year for schools to bring pre 16 students onto campus.
What are SMART targets?
SMART targets are used widely to set goals or objectives in a variety of sectors.
SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Assignable, Realistic & Time-related.
Our pre-16 days are centred around these targets to allow students to positively develop their mindset towards learning and education.
DiscoverSMART for Years 8/9
This on campus day, designed for Year 8 and Year 9 students, will allow students to learn more about how their choices now will affect their future, based around the SMART targets.
Please note, there are a limited number of places per school (minimum 30 and a maximum of 35 pupils) and the event has a capacity of 120 pupils overall per day. We would request that students participating in the events meet one or more of our widening participation criteria.
The day will include an Introduction to Higher Education talk, campus tour and current student Q&A, along with the following two workshops:
Workshop One: Paving the Way
This interactive session explores the routes students can take through GCSE options, post-16 and beyond.
Workshop Two: Project Boost
Project Boost allows students to use their creativity to develop a service to provide students with support in an area of their choosing. After working in teams, students will present their ideas to the group.
