Campus tours
Want to see where your teaching will take place? On the lookout for the best places to eat lunch? Let us take you around our award-winning campus. From the Faculty of Health to The Sports Centre and everything in between – we’ll show you it all. Look out for our new developments too, we’re excited to share them with you. And who better to show you around than our own current students?
All tour routes are fully accessible.
Campus tours depart every 15 minutes and take approximately 45 minutes.
University library (Catalyst)
Catalyst is known for being the central place to learn on campus. Home to our impressive library facilities, you’ll see where you can spend your time developing your learning. In here, you’ll find plenty of equipment to enhance your studies. As well as technology to access online resources.
Tours depart every 30 minutes and take approximately 20 minutes.
Ormskirk tours
Where are we? Ormskirk, of course. A charming town in the heart of the North West, you’ll find the centre just a 15-minute walk, or a short bus journey, from our beautiful campus. And, as part of your open day, you’ll have the opportunity to visit with some expert tour guides, our students. They’ll take you into town on our free Edge Link bus so you can visit your local spots for yourself.
Tours of Ormskirk take approximately 90 minutes.
Sports Centre tours
Explore the home of Edge Hill Sport and our 60 acres of sport and leisure facilities. If you’re looking to stay fit and active alongside your studies or you’re serious about sport and want to compete. Our purpose-built indoor and outdoor facilities are there for you to use. Take a tour and see everything on offer.

Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre
Looking to work in health, social care or medicine? Take a tour of our innovative facilities which replicate real-world health, social care and medicine environments. See how you’ll develop and practice skills and situations that you could experience on placement or when qualified.
