View our accommodation
Living in halls of residence is a great way to make new friends and immerse yourself in university life. As soon as you start unpacking, you’ll experience the supportive, sociable and welcoming buzz of our on campus accommodation.
How to view our accommodation at open day
We’ve just won an award for creating the Best Student Home (First Annual ASRA Awards 2024). View our halls of residence and see why for yourself. At any point during the open day, simply find the meeting point for each hall (shown on our accommodation map) and look out for the signs. Staff and students will be waiting to show you inside so you can explore at your own pace.
You’ll be able to see rooms, kitchens and common areas to get a feel for each of our halls of residence and choose which one is right for you. If you’ve already chosen a room, we can’t guarantee you’ll see the exact room you have selected, but you’ll be able to see similar rooms in your chosen halls.
Choose your own room
Find out why we’re 1st in the UK for accommodation (Uni Compare 2023). If you select us as your firm choice on UCAS, you’ll be guaranteed a place in our accommodation. Want to be close to your lecture theatres? A short walk from our 24/7 library? Or The Sports Centre for easy access to the gym? You can choose the room that’s right for you. Our award-winning halls are popular and rooms do fill fast, so we encourage you to apply as soon as the team get in touch to secure your preferred room.
Accommodation to suit every budget
Our Accommodation Guide includes full details for each of our halls of residence to help you make your choice. Be sure to pick one up at Registration. We manage all of our halls in-house, so we’re able to keep prices low. As the winner of the Global Student Living Awards 2024 Best Value for Money category, our fees are below the national average and we never implement big increases. In 2023, our rent increased by just 1.1% compared to a sector average increase of 14.6% (Unipol and HEPI).
